My Story

I am a registered counsellor under the Board of Counsellor, Malaysia and a Certified NDP Trainer from UK. After obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from University Tunku Abdul Rahman, I practice therapeutic play in my job for the past 13 years in educational, hospital and welfare settings (including primary and secondary schools, juvenile schools, orphanage homes and prison). In 2016, I completed my Master of Counselling from Open University Malaysia, since then I was appointed as a Panel Counsellor of KWSP on year 2017 - 2019. I am also a Psychology Lecturer in Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, I do my private practice at Silver Lining Psychology Specialist. I have been also appointed as specialist career consultant in the Education Fair and being invited as one of the radio and television guest speaker (AiFM, MelodyFM, SabahVFM, CityPlus FM and RTM).
I started to integrate technology and psychology into couple therapy which has become my continuing research. My counselling and therapy practice has a foundation in approaches drawn from Adler, Jung, Reality, Cognitive-Behavioural, and Gestalt.
I speak fluent Malay, English, Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese.

我是马来西亚心理辅导局注册的注册心理辅导师和英国的认证的 NDP 培训师。在拉曼大学心理学学士学位毕业后，我在过去 13 年的工作中从事治疗性游戏，曾在教育、医院和福利机构（包括华小、独中、感化院、孤儿院和监狱）服务。 2016 年，我在马来西亚开放大学完成了的心理辅导硕士学位，从那时起，我于 2017 年至 2019 年被任命为 KWSP 的辅导师。我现于马来西亚亚太科技大学担任心理系讲师。我也曾被任命为教育博览会的专业职涯顾问，更被邀请为电台与电视台常驻嘉宾（爱FM、美乐迪FM、SabahVFM、CityPlus FM 和国民电视台）。
现阶段，我致力于研究科技和心理学的结合，并把它运用在情侣治疗上。我的咨询和治疗实践以阿德勒、荣格、现实、认知行为和完型治疗的方法为基础。
我会说流利的马来语、英语、华语、福建话和广东话。
